Forged Construction was founded in 2021 by Brad and Nicole Covington. Brad was a tradesman in carpentry and excavation, and Nicole had notoriety as a "super-bookkeeper." What began as a small operation quickly grew into a thriving construction company, driven by a mission that goes beyond just building homes: we are a husband and wife here to solve problems, serve others, and glorify God through every project we take on. At Forged Construction, our leadership is modeled after a paramilitary structure—each team member has defined responsibilities and works within a framework of delegation and ownership. This approach creates focus, and accountability, enabling us to deliver high-quality results efficiently and effectively handling problems at the lowest level. Most importantly, it reflects our belief that good leadership mirrors how God delegates work: with clarity, purpose, and free gifts of work to do. Our philosophy on work is rooted in the Bible. We see work as a series of concentric rings, starting with glorifying God at the center. From there, we serve our families, our team, and finally, our customers. By caring in this order, we maximize our ability to deliver excellence to the outermost ring: our clients. As a Christ-focused company, we also believe in the power of transformation. We don’t just build projects and homes—we build up people by providing opportunities for team members to grow from the lowest levels, and committed to fostering a culture where each member is challenged to become a specialist in his craft. At Forged Construction, every day is an opportunity to work joyfully for the glory of God, to face challenges with that joy, and to deliver results that reflect our commitment to excellence. From the Palouse to the Valley and beyond, our mission remains the same: to build with integrity, purpose, and cheerful dedication.
