Led by award-winning designer Dennese Guadeloupe Rojas, this Silver Spring, MD–based firm works on a global scale on residential, commercial, and multi-family projects. Rojas’ team of five takes pride in a positive environment of learning together and contributing to each design.

IBD is known for uniquely weaving together reflections of the client’s taste and lifestyle with upscale touches and a curated feel. A well-executed interior includes an interesting mix of layers, finishes, and textures, with underlying notes of simplicity and class. We are a Drywall and Interiors Contractor supplying and installing Drywall, Metal Framing, and Acoustical Ceilings.

In the Drywall and Interiors business since June 6, 1987. Family owned and operated. 
Based in Akron, Ohio. Serving all of Ohio and Surrounding States. We do travel.
We currently have 5 Office Staff, and 10 field Staff. Plus crews for Drywall, Metal Framing, and ACT.   
Currently, we are running on average 35-50 men. 80% of our subcontractors work for us exclusively.  
We have done work for up to 25 Builders and General Contractors at once. 172 total over the years.
Work mix has varied over the years from 75% commercial 25% residential to the opposite of that.
Work mix; we have done custom homes from 1000sf-17,000sf up to $30M.  
Multifamily up to 254 units, Large Hotels, Medical Facilities, and Very Large Commercial Buildings. Up to $150M.    
Work has always included small repairs/restoration and remodeling work as well. 
We have an active and aggressive sales plan that we work. 
We do call on all Ohio Custom Builders and General Contractors on a regular basis to grow our business. 
We are ALWAYS selling.
We are ALWAYS prospecting. 
We pay our Suppliers on time; we believe that it is the right thing to do.
We pay our Subcontractors on time; we believe that it is the right thing to do.
We pay our Vendors on time; we believe it is the right thing to do.
Our Accountant is involved in every facet of our business. We take business very seriously.
Our Lawyer is involved in every facet of our business when needed. We take business very seriously.

The crews that do the work are subcontractors. They come from all different backgrounds and ethnicities. They are all from different age groups and levels of life and drywall experiences. We have many crews that work for us. We work as many as 60+ people. 
We are not perfect, our subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors are not perfect. The construction process is not perfect. We will always make every effort to do things right and make right the mistakes we make. 
We do have 6 active full time touch up/warranty/repair and supervisor personnel. 
We have General Liability Insurance; all of our sub contactors are required to have it as well. 
We are members of our local Home Builders Associations, the Gypsum Association and The NHBA.
