Henderson|Gilbane Joint Venture invites you to bid on the James City County Library Addition to the previously awarded Government Center.
 
At this time, we are planning to submit pricing as it relates to foundations, to include Concrete Footings, SOG, underground MEPS, Foundation Masonry, Foundation Waterproofing, and associated Steel to allow work to progress without delay from the Government Center. The Project Team will be reaching out shortly to discuss in further detail.
 
Included in the Plan Room are permit foundation drawings, as well as the latest-and-greatest drawing set. We have also included the current revit files for each discipline as well. Gilbane Project Manual and Scope Sheets/Bid Forms are forthcoming, but you can expect that they will heavily mirror the documents from the Government Center as well.

M&T Bank Stadium - GMP 21 NE Synthetic Turf (North Plaza/Northeast Village)

Gilbane Building Company, Construction Manager, for and acting on behalf of Board of Education of North Shore School District 112, is receiving lump sum proposal forms from interested contractors for the renovations of the Wayne Thomas Elementary School. This advertisement is for the roof replacement and patch work specified for the Wayne Thomas Elementary School. Building Re-Roof is approximately 40,000 sf scheduled to be complete for summer 2026 construction. This includes all framing associated with raising the roof edges, soffit work/ panels, etc. Substantial completion is scheduled for September 2027. 
The scope of work associated with this bid release is generally described as support of the above program and described in detail herein.

MBE forms, provided in the Procore Bidding Plan Room, must be completed, and submitted with all bid proposals.

Gilbane Building Company would like to invite you to submit a Bid Proposal for your trade specialty scope of work, note that we are soliciting companies utilizing Union tradesman only.  This Project entails the ground up construction of a multi-use 91,702-square-foot, four-story repository and research and development (R&D) laboratory building project scope includes a new core and shell building, interior fit-out, and associated site improvements. The program includes R&D labs, office spaces, tank storage, and a 2,700-square-foot vivarium located on the fourth floor.

Competitive Bid

Gilbane Building Company would like to invite you to participate in the bidding process for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) Expansion and Renovation Project. The Project consists of 173,700gsf of new construction and 45,000sf of renovation as mandated by Legislative Intent. The Expansion (new construction) has been located at the southwest corner of the existing museum adjacent to the 1985 wing in order to avoid impacts to the original 1936 wing and minimize impact to the most recent 2010 expansion. The proposed expansion will have one level below grade, and (5) primary levels above grade with a fully architecturally screened penthouse integrated into the 5th level. Exterior facades are comprised of a blend of flat and concave/fluted insulated glass (both clear and fritted), metal brise-soleils, and concave/fluted textured pre-cast panels.

Gilbane is looking for design budgeting partners to hopefully negotiate scopes for early foundation-to-grade permit work to start in December, and full scope award in Q1 2027.
