Our Core Services Include:
Custom Fire Safety Plan Development: Tailored to each building’s classification and occupancy type (Groups A to F), our plans incorporate site-specific details, system specifications, and compliance procedures as mandated by Section 2.8 of the Ontario Fire Code.
Site Assessments & Hazard Audits: We conduct thorough assessments of existing fire and life safety infrastructure, identifying upgrades required to meet current code, including emergency lighting, alarm systems, sprinkler risers, CO detection, and more.
Emergency and Evacuation Procedure Engineering: Our plans detail clear protocols for alarm activation, fire department notification, evacuation (including for persons requiring assistance), suppression, and confinement strategies, supported by schematic diagrams.
Annual and Event-Driven Plan Updates: We proactively track fire code changes and revise client safety plans to reflect evolving legislative and operational requirements, ensuring continuous compliance.
Training and Fire Drill Coordination: We provide fire drill procedures and frequency schedules per OFC 2.8.3.2, including monthly, quarterly, and annual drill mandates based on occupancy class.
Hazardous Material Storage Compliance: Firepoint assists clients with combustible and flammable liquid audits (per OFC Part 4), ensuring proper reporting, containment, and spill response strategies are in place.
Municipal Submission and Liaison Services: We manage plan submissions to city fire departments and coordinate any required revisions, approvals, or site meetings to expedite compliance approval processes.
