My Husband started Mart Concrete back in 2001, in late 2005 he had to leave it due to not enough work. He continued to do side jobs whenever he could. For many years he worked for other companies. In 04/2012 he got a job working in Oklahoma at the Canton Bridge in Canton, Ok. I moved up there with him in 2015 on New Year's Day . During all my years beside my husband I started learning about the Construction Industry. We moved to Douglas, AZ. in 2016 where I was hands on beside my husband, where I learned to grade, frame, & compact, before a pour. A year ago my husband studied to get the ROC License and was able to pass the PSI test due to his English being limited. This was when I decided to study for the PSI test. When I felt I was ready, I set up the date to go take the PSI Test and passed to my surprise. Then I studied for the Statues and Rules test. Passed that one also. Sent the application in with the cost and was so happy when ROC had called to let me know that they were issuing me my License. I give all Thanks to my Lord for being with me through all of this. And now at the age of 72 we are Mart Concrete LLC. It has not been easy but here we are a Legal Company. Now the hard part has began. Bidding on jobs with the Big Boys. With every bid I send out I learn a little more on the Bidding process.
